Drake Maye’s shoulder injury continues to be the biggest topic for New England sports fans ahead of Super Bowl LX.
With just over one week to go before the big game, Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald was asked on Friday how much he takes the MVP candidate’s health into account in getting ready for Super Bowl LX.
“None,” Macdonald replied, according to a report by Pro Football Talk’s Michael David Smith.
The Patriots quarterback missed Friday’s practice due to his injury, as well as an illness.
Still with eight days to go before kickoff to the biggest game of his life, Maye will presumably be ready to roll on Feb. 8.

“He is a tremendous player. He really is. He’s strong, he’s fast, great arm talent, great decision making. We’ve got to be on our stuff,” Macdonald said, per Smith’s report.
Seahawks signal-caller Sam Darnold has been dealing with an injury of his own, battling an oblique issue ahead of Super Bowl LX.
The two-time Pro Bowler was a limited participant in Seattle’s practice on Friday.
