New England Patriots defensive lineman Christian Barmore didn’t mince words following his club’s victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
It’s one of the many cool things about winning the AFC Championship…
Barmore, who finished with several pressures during the game, had plenty to say after being asked about his success against an offensive line that was ranked the best in the NFL by Pro Football Focus — and specifically All-Pro Quinn Meinerz.
“First-Team All-Pro. Our coach tells us all the time that All-Pro don’t mean (expletive). Excuse my language,” Barmore said, as shared by CLNS Media. “It doesn’t matter. Our coaches tell us all the time, they’re All-Pro so they’re targets. He’s one hell of a player, but this is about our team. It’s about the Patriots.”
Milton Williams was equally as fired up about his unit’s performance, hyping his own guys up to anyone who would listen.

“No. 1 offensive line can kiss my (expletive),” Williams said on his way back to the locker room following the game, according to MassLive’s Mark Daniels.
“Everybody doubted us. Everybody talked about we ain’t this, we ain’t that,” Williams said in his on-field interview with NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe. “They got the number one offensive line? I want to hear something today. Talk (expletive) today.”
The Patriots certainly have used public perception as a motivating factor throughout their run to the Super Bowl LX, and something tells us they’ll receive plenty more bulletin board material over the next two weeks.
