All indications on Thursday pointed toward New England Patriots star cornerback Christian Gonzalez being available for the team’s Sunday afternoon AFC Divisional Round playoff game vs. the Houston Texans.

The Pro Bowler was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice after suffering a concussion in New England’s wild-card round win vs. the Los Angeles Chargers but upgraded to full during Thursday’s session.

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said on Friday that Gonzalez, as well as two other players, are questionable for Sunday’s contest, however.

“Mike Vrabel leads off with the injury report, saying OLB/DE Harold Landry III (knee), CB Christian Gonzalez (concussion protocol) and RB Terrell Jennings (concussion protocol) are questionable,” ESPN’s Mike Reiss posted on Bluesky.

The defensive back missed the first three games of the regular season due to a hamstring injury but has suited up for each of the last 15 contests.
