Kendall Jenner made waves earlier this week by picking the New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl during her appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon. She made her million-dollar bet for Fanatics Sportsbook after consulting with Tom Brady via FaceTime, of course.
It’s a bold pick, as the Patriots are underdogs against the Seattle Seahawks. It’s also an unwanted one from New England fans who believe in the “Kardashian Curse,” which has befallen many professional athletes who’ve gotten involved with the Kardashian-Jenner family over the years.
Fortunately, Patriots owner Robert Kraft doesn’t believe in it and is proud to have Jenner’s support.
“Kendall, I just heard you put your money on us to win this big game,” Kraft said in a video post by the team’s social media account on Thursday. “And you know what? I don’t believe that thing about the Kardashian Curse. We’ve been underdogs plenty of times, and we’ve done okay. Let’s do it together.”

It’s true that New England has fared well as a Super Bowl underdog recently. The Patriots beat the St. Louis Rams as massive underdogs in early 2002 and the Seahawks as slight underdogs in early 2015, so they’ve defied the odds before, especially this season.
Jenner isn’t the only bettor to place a million-dollar wager on New England. If the Patriots beat Seattle in Santa Clara next week, they’ll win big.
