Super Bowl LX will be played in Santa Clara, Calif.

The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will spend time preparing for their matchup elsewhere, according to ChatSports’ Chase Senior.

New England is slated to practice at Stanford (Palo Alto). Seattle is slated to practice at San Jose State (San Jose). It’s not the first time those two schools have hosted the big game’s participants, however, as the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers practiced at Stanford and San Jose State, respectively, prior to Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium.

I’ve never been one to spread conspiracy theories, but the timing of this announcement is pretty funny — as there have been theories floating around that the San Francisco 49ers’ injury woes over the last several years are at least in part due to chronic exposure to “low-frequency electromagnetic fields” from the electrical substation located next to their practice facility.

No, really.

49ers general manager John Lynch revealed the team investigated the potential connection, but the conspiracy has been debunked.

The Patriots and Seahawks, however, won’t have to worry too much about that as they’ll each be taking their preparations more than 10 miles away in the week leading up to Super Bowl LX.
