Texans safety Calen Bullock said on Monday night following the team’s wild-card round victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers that “the whole world knows” that Houston has the best defense.

New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte discussed the team’s AFC Divisional Round opponent on Thursday and while he admitted that Bullock and company are “a good unit,” he said he was confident in his offense.

“Number one ranked defense, whatever you want to say. But I mean, we’re a good offense too,” the pass-catcher said, according to a report by MassLive’s Chris Mason. “We’re not going to discredit ourselves. Just keep doing the same things we’ve been doing, honestly.”

Per Mason’s report, Boutte was also asked if he thought the Texans were one of the most difficult defenses he’s had to prepare for.

“I wouldn’t say one of the toughest. At the end of the day, we know we’re going to get man coverage,” Boutte said. “We’ve gotta beat it. It’s that simple. … They’re not too complicated on defense. Not too many different looks. We get a good tell at what they’re doing. But just being us.”
