Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz is good at many things. Apparently, performing on “The Masked Singer” isn’t one of them.

The Hall of Famer was revealed Wednesday on the season premiere of the show on FOX.

Of course, it’s worth noting Ortiz works for FOX Sports as one of its lead MLB analysts, alongside New York Yankees studs Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez.

According to Yahoo, Ortiz dressed as a googly-eyed monster and performed “Turn Down for What” by DJ Snake and Lil Jon.

A first-ballot inductee into Cooperstown, Ortiz received the fewest votes on the episode.

But he did take home a consolation prize: his costume reportedly was the tallest worn in the show’s history.

According to FOX, “Ortiz’s voice was altered to a high pitch as the fans got a hint of who he was.”

“I got eyes everywhere. I can see everything. I love it,” Ortiz said in character.

“It’s giving Puerto Rican Papi,” Jenny McCarthy said, per FOX.

But wait. There’s more.

“Later, when it was revealed the googly-eyed performer was indeed Ortiz, he stepped out from underneath his disguise and relived his song and dance,” FOX noted.

“That was a straight-up work out there. I don’t need to go to the gym for about a month,” Ortiz said, according to FOX.

Ortiz, a 10-time All-Star and three-time World Series champion, will resume his day job this year on the FOX Sports pregame and post-game set.

And Big Papi will no doubt pick up where he left off, reminding everyone on the planet (including Jeter and A-Rod) time and again that … “DAAAAAA Yankees lose!”
