Former New England Patriots coach Patrick Graham reportedly had an in-person interview with the Miami Dolphins on Monday for their head coaching vacancy.

Graham has served as the Las Vegas Raiders defensive coordinator for the last four seasons.

“Per source, the Dolphins are currently interviewing Raiders DC Patrick Graham in person,” ESPN’s Dolphins reporter Marcel Louis-Jacques posted on X. “Graham was Miami’s defensive coordinator under Brian Flores in 2019, when the AFC East only had one superstar quarterback. But now the division has two, which interested me in what he previously said about game planning for elite passers.”

The 46-year-old Graham began his NFL coaching career with the Patriots as a coaching assistant in 2009, before serving as a defensive assistant in 2010. He was New England’s linebackers coach in 2011, 2014 and 2015 and the team’s defensive line coach in 2012 and 2013.

Graham also had two separate stints with the New York Giants (2016, 2017, 2020 and 2021), holding various titles and was the Green Bay Packers linebackers coach and running coordinator in 2018.

The Dolphins fired head coach Mike McDaniel after four seasons on Jan. 8.
