Ian Begley of SNY reported on Wednesday afternoon that both the New York Knicks and Miami Heat will be making aggressive offers to acquire Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo before the Feb. 5 NBA trade deadline.

Begley’s post came an hour or so after ESPN’s Shams Charania dropped an explosive post to X revealing that Giannis officially ready to leave the Bucks and find a new home.

Antetokounmpo has delivered another dominant performance in the 2025-26 NBA season for the Milwaukee Bucks, though the team has faced challenges. He has appeared in 30 games, averaging 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 5.6 assists while shooting an impressive 64.5 percent from the field.

His season began with a scorching October, where he posted 36.3 points per game across four outings, including 40 points against Cleveland on October 26. November saw consistent excellence with 29.0 points and strong all-around play, featuring a 41-point, 15-rebound, nine-assist effort versus Chicago on November 7.

Over his career, since being drafted 15th overall by Milwaukee in 2013, Antetokounmpo has evolved from a raw prospect into one of basketball’s elite forces. He captured back-to-back MVPs in 2019 and 2020, added Defensive Player of the Year in 2020, and led the Bucks to their 2021 championship with Finals MVP accolades.

With seven All-NBA First Team selections, four All-Defensive First Team honors, and franchise records in points, rebounds, and triple-doubles, he joined the 20,000-point club this season.
