Former New England Patriots offensive assistant Bo Hardegree was handed the keys to the Tennessee Titans’ offense when he took over as the team’s play-caller in late September.

After nearly nine months working closely with 2025 first overall pick Cam Ward, the 41-year-old is moving onto the Buffalo Bills where he’ll lead the Patriots’ rivals as their new quarterbacks coach.

Hardegree was among a slew of new coaches officially added to first-year Bills head coach Joe Brady’s staff on Friday.

The Tennessee native will now look to help superstar Josh Allen elevate his game even further after the 29-year-old followed up his 2024 MVP season with a fourth straight Pro Bowl campaign in 2025.

Hardegree worked with the Denver Broncos (2014), Chicago Bears (2015), Miami Dolphins (2016-18) and New York Jets (2019-2020) in various roles before serving as Bill Belichick’s offensive assistant in 2021.

He then worked as the Las Vegas Raiders’ quarterbacks coach in 2022 and 2023 under now-Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels before landing with the Titans.

The latter was Las Vegas’ head coach for the entire 2022 season and part of the 2023 campaign before being fired after Week 8.

Hardegree was promoted to the Raiders’ offensive coordinator post following McDaniels’ dismissal.
