The Super Bowl LX payouts for players on the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks were recently noted by Bleacher Report’s Erik Beaston.
Players on the winning team will receive a $178,000 payout. Player on the losing team will receive a $103,000 payout.
Per Beaston, “This is a $7,000 increase for each over what the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs received for the 2025 game.”
“Players can also achieve incentive bonuses based on contract language for their participation and performance in the Super Bowl, with some able to bank upwards of $1 million, depending on those individual incentives,” Beaston added.
Super Bowl LX arrives on February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, pitting the Patriots against the Seahawks in a highly anticipated rematch of their classic 2015 showdown.

The Patriots, AFC champions, advanced with a gritty 10-7 victory over the Denver Broncos in a snowy AFC Championship Game, showcasing their resilient defense and ability to grind out low-scoring wins. New England finished the regular season at 14-3 (some reports note their strong 17-3 playoff-adjusted mark), marking their record 12th Super Bowl appearance. They pursue a seventh Lombardi Trophy, which would set a new NFL benchmark.
The Seahawks, NFC champions, secured their spot with a thrilling 31-27 win over the Los Angeles Rams, fueled by quarterback Sam Darnold’s strong arm (346 yards and three touchdowns in the NFC title game) and standout receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s explosive contributions. Seattle posted a 14-3 regular season, topping the NFC for the first time since 2014, and now seeks their second title after Super Bowl XLVIII.
This clash revives memories of Super Bowl XLIX, where New England prevailed 28-24 on a dramatic goal-line interception. Eleven years later, both teams arrive with top-tier offenses and defenses, promising a battle of contrasting styles: the Patriots’ methodical approach against Seattle’s dynamic passing attack.
