Running back TreVeyon Henderson has the rare opportunity to win back-to-back championships when the New England Patriots play the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX.

Henderson’s feat could be even more impressive because he’s still a rookie.

The 23-year-old was a member of Ohio State’s two-headed monster of a backfield during the 2024 season, joining Cleveland Browns standout Quinshon Judkins to help lead the Buckeyes to the college football playoff national championship.

Now, Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs wants to make sure that his teammate doesn’t take the chance to play for the Lombardi Trophy for granted.

“He said he hopes rookies like TreVeyon Henderson understand how special it is. ‘Everybody’s journey is different. I told him ‘This opportunity doesn’t come a lot in the NFL. This ain’t Ohio State.’ But he has a great approach. He’s been working hard,'” Christopher Price of the Boston Globe posted on Bluesky.

Henderson is less than one year into his NFL career, a finalist for the Offensive Rookie of the Year honor and will appear on football’s biggest stage on Sunday.
