Super Bowl week this year has, like always, been filled with scores of storylines.
From Drake Maye’s shoulder injury to rookie safety Nick Emmanwori’s mid-week ankle issue, both the New England Patriots’ and Seattle Seahawks’ injury reports have been important to monitor in recent days.
There’s been plenty of off-the-field headlines as well, most notably Bill Belichick’s Pro Football Hall of Fame snub and trade rumors linking New England to Las Raiders superstar defender Maxx Crosby.
Tom Brady has been at the center of another Patriots-related controversy leading into the big game as well, after TB12 said on Monday night that he didn’t “have a dog in the fight” in Super Bowl LX.
His response prompted loads of criticism and surprise, as most expected Brady to be pulling for New England.

The GOAT may now be having second thoughts about his words from early in the week or is at least attempting to douse the flames of backlash.
Brady, who won six Super Bowls with the franchise and a seventh with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, posted an Instagram story on Friday night of a picture of himself and Patriots owner Robert Kraft, saying that he wanted the 84-year-old to earn his seventh championship ring.
“You know I got your back RKK,” Brady posted. “Get that 7th ring so we can match.”
