The Yankees have been sliding for a couple months, but that doesn’t appear to be stopping them from going all in.

New York pulled off a blockbuster trade Saturday amid its series with the Boston Red Sox, finalizing a deal to acquire outfielder Jazz Chisholm from the Miami Marlins, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN.

Boston must have really irked them with Friday night’s come-from-behind victory.

Chisholm is a tremendous get for the Yankees, being one of just 11 players in MLB with at least 60 home runs and 75 stolen bases since the start of the 2021 season, according to Underdog’s Justin Havens. He is batting .249 with 13 home runs and 22 stolen bases in 2024, and is under team control until 2026.
