Much has been made about the lack of quality Red Sox pitching prospects in Boston's farm system.

Well, three pitchers for High-A Greenville had something to say about that Thursday night.

Yordanny Monegro, Cooper Adams and Isaac Stebens teamed up on the mound to throw a dazzling no-hitter for the Drive in a 4-0 win over the Wilmington Blue Rocks. It was the second no-hitter of the season for Greenville. The trio combined for just one walk while the Drive also committed one error.

Stebens recorded the final out of the contest when he induced a harmless fly ball to left-center field and that set off an on-field celebration for Greenville, which you can watch here.

Monegro got the combined no-hitter rolling when he shut down Wilmington by throwing five perfect innings with six strikeouts. Adams then took over for three innings of relief in which he struck out two before Stebens closed things out.

Monegro is the only member of the trio to be ranked among Boston's top 30 prospects by MLB Pipeline -- the 6-foot-4, 180-pound right-hander falls in at No. 14 on the list. Monegro, 21, signed with the Red Sox as an international free agent in February 2020 and owns a 3-2 record with a 3.88 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 51 innings with Greenville this season.
