FOXBORO, Mass. -- Ja'Lynn Polk knows how to make a good first impression.

The Patriots rookie wide receiver has stood out during training camp and garnered more support from New England fans with what he wore to Thursday night's preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Polk arrived to Gillette Stadium paying homage to Hall of Famer Randy Moss by rocking his No. 81 Patriots jersey. You can see it for yourself here:

Moss starred over three-plus seasons with the Patriots, including setting an NFL record with 23 touchdown receptions in 2007. The legendary wideout certainly left an impact on the organization, which was recognized in June during Tom Brady's Patriots Hall of Fame ceremony when the fans in attendance gave Moss an unexpected standing ovation.

Patriots fans would love to see some of Moss in Polk, who New England selected in the second round of this year's draft out of Washington. Polk caught three passes for 14 yards in the preseason opener.

It in all likelihood won't be Brady to Moss, but fans could give a glimpse of the future against the Eagles with Polk catching passes from Drake Maye, who is expected to get more playing time in the exhibition contest.
