The New England Patriots will trim their roster from 90 to 53 players following three preseason games and a summer worth of training camp practices.

The NFL deadline is Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET.

The Patriots will answer many questions over the course of the next 30 hours. Among them: Does Bailey Zappe make the roster after the Jacoby Brissett injury? Who makes the roster as a sixth receiver? How does New England's deep cornerback room shake out?

2:45 p.m. ET: The Patriots are releasing running back Deshaun Fenwick, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
