The UConn women’s basketball team went on a season-log run throughout another dominant season and ended the NCAA Tournament doing what they know best: winning another title.
Their 82-59 win over the South Carolina Gamecocks marked the team’s 12th NCAA championship, thanks to the help of guard Azzi Fudd’s incredible performance.
Fudd scored 24 points, grabbed five rebounds and added three steals on the way to being named Most Outstanding Player for the Final Four.
