NESN, New England’s premier sports network, on Tuesday announced that Bauer has signed a two-year extension as presenting sponsor of NESN’s Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) coverage through the 2026-27 season.
The renewal follows a successful 2024-25 debut season that marked Bauer’s first integrated sponsorship with a regional sports network around PWHL programming. The partnership continues to grant Bauer exclusive presenting rights to all PWHL games airing on NESN, as well as branded features and in-game activations that connect fans directly to the sport’s growing community.
“Bauer has been a driving force in growing women’s hockey at every level, and their continued commitment to NESN’s PWHL coverage underscores that leadership,” said Matt Volk, COO at NESN. “Together, we’ve built a platform that celebrates the athletes, deepens fan engagement, and showcases the speed and skill of the women’s game.”
Through the extended agreement, Bauer will continue to serve as presenting sponsor for NESN’s live PWHL broadcasts, highlight packages, and digital content.
“Partnering with NESN has allowed us to share the incredible stories and talent within the PWHL with passionate hockey fans across New England,” said Mary-Kay Messier, CMO at Bauer. “We’re proud to keep pushing the game forward and shining a brighter light on the athletes who are redefining what’s possible in women’s hockey.”
