After taking down the New York Knicks at TD Garden on Tuesday, the Boston Celtics made a quick road trip down to Washington D.C. to play the Washington Wizards on Thursday night before returning home to host the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

Jayson Tatum has been traveling with the team while injured, but he doesn’t have a game to prepare for tonight. Accordingly, he had some extra time to kill on Thursday.

Tatum spent part of it by visiting the Baltimore Ravens practice facility in Owings Mills, Maryland, about a two-hour drive from Washington, D.C. He met with several Ravens players, including two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson.

Jackson is also dealing with injuries and missed Thursday’s practice, although he’s expected to play on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to offensive coordinator Todd Monken.

Baltimore is gearing up for a crucial Week 14 divisional battle with the Steelers. Both teams are tied for first place in the AFC North at 6-6 with five games remaining.

Meanwhile, the Celtics are going for their third straight win tonight. They’ll be without Jaylen Brown as they try to beat the team with the worst record in the Eastern Conference.
