The New England Patriots will return to action in Week 15 after enjoying their bye week in Week 14, and when they do, they will be taking on the Buffalo Bills for the second time this season. With so much being on the line in this one, it’s safe to say this is the Patriots’ biggest game of the season.
The Pats announced themselves to the world back in Week 5 with a shocking 23-20 victory over the Bills on Sunday Night Football. That helped kickstart an ongoing 10-game win streak that has helped New England seize control of the AFC East division.
Beating Buffalo once is tough enough, so you can bet it is going to make N.E. work for everything it can get in this game. Further illustrating that point is a telling statistic from head coach Sean McDermott’s time in charge of the team. Since 2021, the Bills are 8-0 when facing a team they had lost to previously in the same season.
It’s always tough to beat the same team twice in one season, especially when they are as talented as the Bills are. They have a full game’s worth of tape against the Patriots already, which will make it easier for their coaching staff to make adjustments heading into this game.

That doesn’t guarantee Buffalo will win this game, though. Since the last time these two teams met, New England has morphed into a de facto Super Bowl contender, and it’s clear this squad will not back down with a chance to wrap up the AFC East on the line.
This is without a doubt the biggest game of the season for the Patriots, and they could further solidify themselves as one of the top teams in the league this season by taking down the Bills for a second time. Kickoff for this highly anticipated contest is set for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon.
