The New England Patriots suffered a painful loss in Week 15 to the Buffalo Bills, as they threw away a 21-point lead and ended up losing 35-31. However, for rookie safety Craig Woodson, not everything has gone poorly for him as of late.

A fourth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Woodson immediately emerged as a starter for the Patriots in their secondary. While he’s endured some growing pains along the way, he’s been incredibly consistent, as he’s appeared in all 14 games, racking up 70 tackles, three pass deflections and one fumble recovery.

Off the field, Woodson enjoyed a major win in his personal life that he recently took to social media to share. In a post on Instagram, Woodson revealed that he had gotten engaged to his girlfriend, Jazmyn, which quickly led to a slew of congratulatory messages coming his way.

It’s safe to say this has been a pretty big year for Woodson. Not only has he gotten drafted by the Patriots and become a key piece of their defense, but he has also gotten engaged, which is always an important part of life, regardless of what your profession is.

On the field, Woodson will be looking to bounce back from a rough outing against the Bills. Woodson struggled in coverage throughout this game, and he was in coverage for Dawson Knox’s first touchdown of the day for Buffalo.

And yet, even with some recent bumps in the road, it goes without saying that Woodson has enjoyed a remarkably impressive rookie season. He will aim to help the Pats get back in the win column in Week 16 when they take on the Baltimore Ravens.
