The New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens are hurting entering their matchup on Sunday, with several starters on both sides missing practice Wednesday.
Carlton Davis III (hip), Christian Elliss (illness), Marcus Jones (knee), Harold Landry III (knee) and Robert Spillane (ankle) all missed practice in Foxboro, Mass.
Spillane is still nursing an injury he seemingly sufferend last week during practice, which kept him sidelined for last Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills. Davis also missed time during that contest, though he did return. Landry has been in and out of practices for several weeks.
Lamar Jackson (illness), Chidobe Awuzie (foot), Teddye Buchanan (knee), Roquan Smith (knee), Ronnie Stanley (knee/ankle) and Kyle Van Noy (quad) missed the session in Owings Mills, Md.
“Lamar has an illness, he was kept home with a flu deal,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said when asked about his starting quarterback on Wednesday. “It’s kind of a rest thing.”
