There were a lot of contributing factors in the New England Patriots’ 28-24 road win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football, from Drake Maye’s historic passing performance to some head-scratching moves by the Ravens.
One key factor was the crowd, which was surprisingly friendly at M&T Bank Stadium. The Patriots heard loud cheers all night, including multiple “MVP” chants for Maye late in the game.
During his WEEI radio appearance on Monday morning, Mike Vrabel praised New England fans for making their presence felt during one of the biggest games of the year.
“It was a great environment, a fantastic environment that our fans helped provide,” Vrabel said. “I can’t thank them enough for traveling to Baltimore and being there and watching that place empty out, but our fans remain and continue to cheer for us and our players.”

After watching their team suffer a brutal loss to the Buffalo Bills the previous week, many Patriots fans still trekked down to Baltimore to cheer New England on during a cold night in Maryland.
