Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has been unguardable lately, scoring at least 30 points in seven straight games and 11 of his last 12 games. Nobody’s been able to stop him.

Accordingly, opponents are apparently resorting to other tactics in an effort to get under his skin and disrupt his play.

During his Twitch stream after the Celtics’ 103-95 win over the Indiana Pacers on Monday, Brown revealed that other players have been purposefully antagonizing him lately.

“Trash talk is part of the game…But I gotta say, recently it’s been getting real disrespectful, for whatever reason,” Brown said. “Dudes are, out of left field, they’ve been talking crazy. Mad disrespectful on the court, out of nowhere.”

Brown said he’s noticed the trend becoming a problem over the past several weeks.

“It’s been the last three out of four games where it’s been dudes just…some dude on the other team that be trying to like grab my jersey, doing this little (expletive), calling me out by name, trying to get a reaction,” Brown claimed. “That (expletive) ain’t gonna work. Keep it up.”

Brown has a bigger target on his back now that he’s Boston’s top player with Jayson Tatum sidelined. He’s playing at an MVP level, and that seems to be drawing unwanted attention from opponents who are trying to distract him.

To his credit, Brown said he’s been minding his own business and staying focused on doing what he can to help the Celtics win, not letting these opponents get to him.
