The Boston Bruins will be without defenseman Hampus Lindholm on Tuesday and going forward.
Boston concludes its five-game road trip on Tuesday night against the Seattle Kraken. The Bruins practiced on Monday, and Lindholm wasn’t on the ice. Following practice, head coach Marco Sturm said he’d be out for a little while.
“It is not going to be a day-to-day thing,” Sturm said on Monday. “Hopefully not too long, but he’s definitely going to be out for a little bit. We have to do more testing when we’re back in Boston, so we can go from there.”
Lindholm has been an impact player for the Bruins, as he’s recorded one goal and two assists for three points in the last two games. Overall, this season, he’s skated in 34 games, recording three goals and 11 assists for 14 points.
Although Lindholm will be out of the lineup, Sturm said defenseman Henri Jokiharju, who’s been sidelined with an injury since Nov. 28, is a game-time decision.

“(Jokiharju) and (Tanner Jeannot) both look pretty good and pretty close,” Sturm said. “We are going to decide tomorrow, sleep (on it). Both are very important pieces to our team, especially with Hampus. He’s been hurt. That will be a nice addition to our game.”
Jokiharju skated on the Bruins’ second-pairing alongside Nikita Zadorov during practice on Monday, which could signal him getting back into the lineup. He’s skated in 25 games, recording six assists.
Boston enters play on Tuesday with a record of 22-18-2 and is three points back of a playoff spot.
