Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown was already a perennial All-Star, making three straight All-Star teams and four of the last five. He’s been even better this year, however, emerging as a legitimate MVP candidate in Jayson Tatum’s absence.

Brown has been cooking without Tatum, putting up career highs in numerous categories. He’s averaging 29.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game with 50/37/77 shooting splits while leading the NBA in made field goals per game and playing lockdown defense, all while leading the Celtics to the third-best record in the Eastern Conference.

Brown isn’t just an All-Star. He’s arguably the best two-way player in the league, and he knows it, especially after dropping 50 points on the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.

On Tuesday, Boston’s team account posted a highlight reel of Brown on X with the caption, “Float like a butterfly, sting like JB” and an All-Star voting link. The black and white video included several clips of Brown boxing, which is a big part of his training regimen.

Brown reposted the montage on his X account with the caption, “Pound for pound I’m the greatest #FCHWPO.”

He’s certainly making the case this season, getting the most out of his abilities and proving he’s a true superstar night in and night out.
