The New England Patriots can watch the College Football Playoff semifinals before they begin their postseason.
An unpredictable college tournament is down to four teams. No. 6 Ole Miss will look to continue a Cinderella run without head coach Lane Kiffin when playing No. 10 Miami in the Fiesta Bowl on Thursday night. No. 1 Indiana then faces No. 5 Oregon in Friday night’s Peach Bowl in Atlanta.
The Patriots released a video of players placing toy footballs in bins, each adorned with a logo from the remaining schools, to make their title pick. They didn’t form much of a consensus.
Running back Rhamondre Stevenson and Jared Wilson were among those to back Ole Miss early in the video, but Christian Gonzalez intervened on his alma mater’s behalf. The star cornerback placed all the footballs in Oregon’s box and took the other bins off the table.

DeMario Douglas went to Liberty, but the Florida native dumped the footballs into the Miami container.
“This is for Carson Beck, and this is for CJ Daniels,” Douglas said of Miami’s star quarterback and wide receiver.
With nobody playing interference, Indiana’s box began to fill. Several players shouted out Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza, an early favorite to go No. 1 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft.

However, Drake Maye casually placed his football in the Oregon box.
ESPN will televise Thursday and Friday’s CFP semifinal matchups each at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Patriots will hope to be preparing for the AFC Championship Game when the National Championship Game takes place on Monday, Jan. 19.
