Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen put full blame on himself for the team’s playoff loss.
The Bills lost 33-30 in overtime to the Denver Broncos on Saturday as Buffalo once again had another playoff heartbreak. Buffalo was up four points with under two minutes to go before Bo Nix threw a touchdown to Marvin Mims to go up by three points.
Although Buffalo did hit a game-tying field goal after some controversial calls in overtime, it was the Broncos who kicked the game-winning field goal to advance to the AFC Championship Game.
Following the loss, Allen, who was crying, put the blame on himself.
“I let my teammates down tonight,” Allen said postgame on Saturday. … “Just missed opportunities throughout the game. It’s been a long season. Hate how it ended. It’s gonna stick with me for a long time.”

Allen believes the Bills shot themselves in the foot with five turnovers, including him making four.
“Can’t win with five turnovers,” Allen added. “I fumbled twice, threw two picks. When you shoot yourself in the foot like that, you don’t deserve to win football games.”
Allen finished the game going 25-of-39 for 283 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions, while rushing for 66 yards.
