The New England Patriots are headed to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2018 season after their 10-7 AFC Championship win.

The Titans went 3-14 in their first season without Vrabel and selected Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick. The Titans went 3-14 again this season. The Patriots did not do much better in 2024, winning just four games. However, the turnaround after hiring Vrabel has been phenomenal.

The Patriots drafted Will Campbell and TreVeyon Henderson, who have played huge roles this year. They also sound many key free agents who made an immediate impact on their team.

The Patriots have won six straight heading into the Super Bowl, where they will play the Seattle Seahawks. The rematch of Super Bowl XLIX will feature Drake Maye and Sam Darnold this time around.

Vrabel joined seven other coaches in a group who have led a team to a Super Bowl in their first year as the coach. The Patriots went 14-3, won the AFC East and were the No. 2 seed in the AFC. The Patriots also became the first team in NFL history to go 9-0 on the road.

The job for Vrabel and company is not finished. They have one more game to win to bring a seventh Lombardi Trophy to Foxborough. It would be the first in franchise history without Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.

Vrabel also has a chance to become the first person in history to win a Super Bowl as both a coach and player for the same franchise. He won three Super Bowls with the Patriots in his playing career.
