The New England Patriots will face off against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX, and while the team has enjoyed a strong 2025 campaign, many folks are predicting they will get pummeled in this game. That group includes popular sports commentator Max Kellerman, who immediately disrespected New England after this matchup was set.

The Patriots surprised everyone by rattling off a 14-3 record in the regular season to win the AFC East division. They then overcame a defensive gauntlet in the playoffs, defeating the Los Angeles Chargers, Houston Texans and Denver Broncos to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl.

N.E. will draw another tough matchup against Seattle, but it has proven so far this year that it can go toe-to-toe with any team. Kellerman doesn’t see it that way, though, as he pre-congratulated the Seahawks on winning Super Bowl LX.

“Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks for winning Super Bowl LX!” Kellerman wrote in a post on X.

While Seattle may appear to have the edge on paper in this game, New England knows better than anybody that you can never overlook your opponent. Heck, the Patriots’ multi-decade dynasty was initially kicked off with one of the biggest upsets of all time in Super Bowl XXXVI.

The Pats haven’t been winning games in particularly pretty fashion this postseason, but all that matters is that they have won. And with that being said, you can bet they are going to throw their best punch when they square off against the Seahawks, no matter what Kellerman and other pundits are saying.
