The New England Patriots are gearing up for Super Bowl LX, which will see them square off against the Seattle Seahawks with a chance to make history on the line. The Pats’ path to the big game hasn’t exactly been dominant, but they have just as good a shot of winning this game as the Seahawks.

After dominating on the offensive side of the ball during the regular season, New England has flipped the script in the postseason. With the offense struggling against a trio of top-five defensive units, the defense has stepped up and played its three best games of the season so far in the playoffs.

Another tough defense awaits in the Super Bowl, as Seattle features an explosive offense led by journeyman quarterback Sam Darnold. If you ask legendary quarterback Brett Favre, he revealed that while he thinks this game will be a battle, he’s picking Seattle to eventually prevail over New England.

“I’ll pick Seattle,” Favre said on NewsNation’s “CUOMO.” “I think it’s going to be a close game either way.”

Favre knows what it takes to win on the biggest stage the NFL has to offer, as he took down the Patriots back in Super Bowl XXXI. Like many others, Favre believes that the Seahawks are simply the better team, and while he’s not counting out the Pats, he’s riding with the NFC champions in this one.

Time will tell whether or not Favre’s Super Bowl is right. Truth be told, though, New England won’t care who he, or anyone else, is picking to win this game. For now, their main focus involves getting healthy before they take the field on Feb. 8.
