New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel is the 2025 NFL Coach of the Year.
Vrabel, who faced steep competition in Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson, Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen, San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald, was officially named the recipient at the NFL Honors on Thursday.
The Patriots posted several tributes to their head coach, including one video of players — including quarterback Drake Maye, tight end Hunter Henry, offensive lineman Will Campbell, linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson and Carlton Davis III — displaying their appreciation for his work this season.
“This award belongs to a building, it belongs to a staff, and ultimately it belongs to the men in the locker room,” Vrabel said via a pre-recorded acceptance video. “… I’ll always be thankful and grateful to be your coach.”
