The New England Patriots season came to an end on Sunday night with a 29-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX.

As New England takes a few days to regroup from its defeat, the focus will soon shift to evaluating potential players to strengthen the roster for next season.

The Patriots should consider bringing in another veteran tight end, and Justin Leger from NBC Sports Boston suggested they should make a move for Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely.

“Hunter Henry will remain the starting tight end, but Isaiah Likely would be a solid complementary option if New England doesn’t select a TE with a high draft pick,” Leger wrote on Monday.

Likely has been with the Ravens for the last four seasons, logging 135 receptions for 1,568 yards and 15 touchdowns over 63 games.

The Patriots might find themselves in a bidding war this offseason if they want to add Likely. He could return to the Ravens or head to the New York Giants, where his former head coach, John Harbaugh, is. There’s also a chance he could land with the Cleveland Browns, who recently hired Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken as their head coach.
