NFL Week 7 was nothing short of chaotic, with unpredictable losses and blowout wins, so looking at the positives, here are the five teams whose stocks are trending up.

  • Philadelphia Eagles

What a win by the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football in those elite Kelly Green uniforms. After falling to the New York Jets, people were already writing off the Eagles’ season, saying they didn’t have the “it” factor they had last season, expecting the high-flying Miami Dolphins to come in and beat them down with their offense. The Eagles dominated the Dolphins on the ground, through the air, and defensively. They owned the line of scrimmage, bulldozing through the Dolphins with the Brotherly Shove too many times to count, and reminded the league of their brand of bully-ball football. Count out the Eagles all you want, but that was a statement win that makes them undoubtedly the best team in the NFC.

  • Baltimore Ravens

I needed to see more from the Baltimore Ravens to become a believer, and man, did I get more. Lamar Jackson looked like his MVP form. The running game was clicking on all cylinders, the passing attack couldn’t be stopped, and the defense was nothing short of elite. Even though the Detroit Lions didn’t look prepared and played like a peewee team, 38-6 is 38-6. Detroit came into Sunday 5-1 and was easily a top-three team in the NFC, so for Baltimore to do that? Man, Baltimore might finally be a top-tier AFC contender.

  • New England Patriots

Is the New England Patriots’ season still a disaster? Absolutely, but Mac Jones came in and just dominated the Buffalo Bills and put together the best start of his NFL career. New England still isn’t going anywhere this season. Hence, any positives are worth spotlighting, and now, Jones could conceivably place himself back as the Patriots franchise quarterback.

  • Jacksonville Jaguars

People might have forgotten that the Jacksonville Jaguars played on Thursday since Sunday was that wild, but they have been balling lately. They won their fourth straight game as they now sit 5-2, looking just as good as Baltimore, Miami, and Buffalo to challenge the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC championship game. Trevor Lawrence is in a groove. The offensive weapons are elite, and the defense is doing what they have to do to win games. This Jacksonville squad will keep winning, and I will be placing a wager on them to win the AFC at +1000 while I can still get such a great number.

  • Kansas City Chiefs

Since everyone else wants to talk about Taylor Swift being at the Kansas City Chiefs game, we’ll show some love to the team that actually played. The Chiefs don’t get any credit anymore since they are expected to dominate all the time, but they prove time and time again how unbelievable they are. On Sunday, Patrick Mahomes shoved for north of 400 passing yards and four touchdowns, while Travis Kelce put up an absurd 179 yards off of 12 catches. Plus, their defense is the best unit they’ve had throughout the entire Mahomes era, elevating their Super Bowl chances that much more. We’re watching one of the greatest dynasties the NFL will ever see, and they’re deservingly playing themselves into being Super Bowl frontrunners again.
