Source: Randy Moss at Patriots' Voluntary Workouts, But Tom Brady Still Missing Wide receiver Randy Moss reported to the New England Patriots' voluntary workouts late last week and has been his same, jovial self around the team, according to a source. Quarterback Tom Brady and linebacker Adalius Thomas have still not reported to the workouts, which began last Monday at Gillette Stadium.

When asked if Brady's absence is concerning, the source replied, "No way, not at all." The team knows Brady has a strong offseason work ethic, and his teammates are aware that their quarterback is sticking with that regimen despite being away from the Patriots' facility. The voluntary workouts have strictly focused on conditioning to this point, so Brady has not missed any football-specific activities.

Thomas, who was at odds with head coach Bill Belichick, is not expected to report to the voluntary workouts. According to a 2007 Sports Illustrated report, Thomas earns $107,000 in voluntary offseason workout bonuses, so he'll forfeit a prorated portion of that cash each week he is absent. Players must report for four workouts in a given week to receive compensation.

Almost everyone else on the team is present for these voluntary workouts, according to the source.
