Canadiens Fans Flood Streets of Montreal After Ousting Penguins in Game 7 The Montreal Canadiens beat the Pittsburgh Penguins in stunning fashion Wednesday night, and the fans celebrated the only way they know how: Lighting fires and going bananas. Wait, I'm sorry — les bananes.

It's hard to blame them for being happy, as they knocked off arguably the two best teams in the East, both in dramatic, seven-game series.

So as the Bruins and Flyers prepare for a Game 7 on Friday night, les habitants of Montreal just might party until Sunday afternoon.

Quote of the day

"Manny [Pacquiao] is definitely going to fight in November. The fight we want to do is the [Floyd] Mayweather fight. There is no question that is the fight the public wants. I'm very optimistic once we start we will conclude this time [but] you never know."
–Bob Arum, to ESPN.com, simultaneously inspiring hope yet maintaining doubt that the two best fighters in the world will actually fight

Comment of the day

Hey, Bruins fans, are you looking for an explanation on how poorly the B's have played in the last three games? Look no further than this guy.

"It's my fault guys….. I SHAVED my playoff beard last friday. It was starting to itch."
–brim

Video of the day

The best part about this video is that there are professional baseball players on the field who are very serious about their jobs. And they're being circled by a bunch of goobers in jockey outfits. Life in the minors is tough.
