Anna Kournikova, Flyers Winger Ville Leino the Next Athletic Love Connection? He may have scored two goals and assisted on five more in the Flyers’ Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Bruins, but Bostonians — and hockey fans all over the world, in fact — owe Ville Leino a standing ovation.

The third-year veteran Finnish winger was spotted with model (oh, and tennis player) Anna Kournikova on Tuesday at Villanova where the Russian beauty was competing in World Team Tennis action

Leino is fresh off hip surgery and entering his contract year. Kournikova, who was apparently married to former sniper Sergei Fedorov, is still a smokeshow and not very good at tennis.

Chalk this up as just another example of those crazy pucksters dominating on and off the ice.
