Bruins Prague Package for Two Pulls in Highest Bid of $5,400 Hockey fans can bid for a trip to Prague to watch the Boston Bruins open their 2010-11 season. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Jimmy Fund.

The auction will take place on both NESN and WEEI on Aug. 18 during the Red Sox-Angels game. The auction will start between 6:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and will conclude at the end of the seventh inning. The winning auction amount will be announced in the post-game show. The number to call to place a bid will be 877-738-1234.

The winner will receive:

  • Seven-day Prague Experience — Oct. 5-11, 2010
  • Airfare for two
  • Five-night hotel stay (twin occupancy), five breakfasts per person, one lunch per person, and two dinners per person, hotel taxes and service fees, two game tickets per person in Prague and ground transportation to & from both games
  • Highlights — Karlovy Vary Tour & Budweiser Brewery Tour
  • Fan Experiences — Dinner with Cam Neely, Open Practice session, Memento/Gift

The estimated value of the package is $5,000.

As of 9:50 p.m. the highest and final bid came in at $5,400.
