While the addition of Manny Ramirez‘s bat will definitely bolster the offensive presence of the Chicago White Sox, they’ll need more than just a proven slugger to launch into a postseason bid.
Chicago added Manny to their roster to help them regain ground in the American League Central division race. The White Sox are currently four games behind Minnesota, losing the AL Central lead to the Twins in mid-August after a month atop the division.
Tuesday’s kgb Question of the Day asked fans if adding Manny to the White Sox roster would be enough to propel the team into the playoffs, and 81 percent of fans who responded said no. Only 19 percent of fans believe that Manny has what it takes to lead the team into the postseason.
Check out the analysis below, including footage from Manny’s arrival in Cleveland on Tuesday.
