Report: Darrelle Revis Feels Disrespected by 10-Year, $122 Million Contract Offer From Jets Darrelle Revis
is worth well more than the $1 million he is due to make this season. Apparently, the cornerback believes he's about $159 million better.

That's according to the New York Post, which reported that Revis rejected a 10-year, $122 million contract, instead asking for a 10-year, $160 million deal. According to Yahoo Sports, Revis is preparing to never play for the Jets again.

Revis has made clear his desire to become the highest-paid corner in the league. Oakland's Nnamdi Asomugha makes about $15.1 million per year, but only as part of a three-year deal. The Jets have also offered Revis various shorter-term deals, but none to the liking of the star corner.

Or his family, for that matter.

"For this to be happening to him, it's almost like a slap in the face, because he's not appreciated," Revis' grandmother, Aileen Revis, told the Post.

To the Revis family, being offered $122 million is disrespectful. We should all be so fortunate.
