Randy Moss, who has been dealt to his former team, the Minnesota Vikings, has quite the history against the Pack, and especially at 1265 Lombardi Avenue. The wideout has 1,243 receiving yards, 12 touchdowns and one $10,000 moon against the Packers in his 13-year career.
In the 2004 NFC wild-card game at Green Bay, Moss took touchdown celebrations to the next level. The wideout, who ended that contest with 70 yards and two touchdowns, pretended to drop trou toward the end zone stands.
To his defense, former NFL head coach Tony Dungy later explained that Packers fans traditionally moon the opponent’s buses following a Packer win at Lambeau. So what’s wrong with a little payback?
Week 7 at Lambeau will be the ticket of the year with both Brett Favre and Moss taking the pitch in Purple and White. The ticket of the decade, however, will be Week 8 at Gillette Stadium, when the Vikes take on Tom Brady and Patriots.
