Ryder Cup 'Fashion' Continues to Turn Heads Across Pond in Wales The sun came out in Wales on Saturday — finally.

After Ryder Cup matches Friday were postponed, the best golfers in the world hit the course in Wales in what were the wee hours of the morning here in America.

And while it was good news that golf was finally able to resume after torrential downpours on Friday, it did give the Ryder Cup — notably the two teams — a chance to show off their duds.

The Americans, following the debacle with their rain gear, came out and did disappoint with their Saturday attire. Those representing the red, white and blue took to the links in light purple sweater vests. Because nothing says America quite like light purple.

This all comes on the heels of the European team's Friday duds. The Europeans donned red sweater vests for the opening matches, another curious decision when considering the Flag of Europe has no sign of red anywhere.

However, the two teams' "uniforms" had nothing on some of the get-ups that could be seen littering the gallery hooting and hollering like only European golf fans can.

This fan has had enough Dwight Howard, but wouldn't you be at least somewhat interested in spending the holidays by the fire with a couple of over-hyped wide receivers?

"I see enough of this egomaniac on the court. The last thing I want is to have to listen to him sing! What's next? Terrell & Ocho singing Christmas carols?"
Nanci
