Zdeno Chara, David Krecji Embraced Warmly As Bruins Arrive in Czech Republic The Bruins arrived in the Czech Republic on Sunday afternoon and a couple of B's got a little more attention than everyone else.

David Krecji, who was born in the Czech Republic, and Zdeno Chara,  of bordering Slovakia, were mobbed by fans and media alike upon Boston's arrival in Prague.

The Bruins will play an exhibition game on Tuesday before they open their regular season against the Phoenix Coyotes with games on Saturday and Sunday.

The B's opened their European getaway in Northern Ireland, winning their first European exhbition by way of a 5-1 defeat of the Belfast Giants.
