It's hard enough facing Yankees ace CC Sabathia, it's even harder when he's one of your best friends.
That's the dilemma that Bill Hall encounters every time he steps to the plate against his former teammate and good friend. Hall and Sabathia first met while playing together in Milwaukee and have kept in touch ever since.
Hall says he always struggles against the Cy Young candidate, and wonders if their close friendship has anything to do with his less than impressive numbers.
"I think if I face him again, I'm going to think of him as not my friend," Hall said. "But it's definitely a good relationship, we're both out there to win."
Hear more from Hall by watching the video below. Also be sure to tune in to Hall's upcoming episode of After the Game: Work Hard, Live Well, Give Back, airing Friday at 5:30 p.m.
