This week in NESN Vault, we remember the end of a Boston institution and the beginning of a new one.
On November 3, 1995, the Celtics lost their first game at the Fleet Center. The C’s fell to the Bucks 101-100 and struggled the rest of the season.
While the Fleet Center (now TD Garden) has started to generate some memories, the roots of the Bruins and Celtics will always be in the Boston Garden.
