NBA 2K11 is taking the lifelike quality of their video game to the next level.
According to Deadspin, the latest roster updated in NBA 2K11 has seen a few changes for San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker — and it has nothing to do with his play on the court.
Since the reported source of his impending divorce from Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria was leaked, Parker’s loyalty rating in the game has seen a serious downfall. The point guard is now rated “not loyal” and reportedly has fallen from an 87 to a zero rating in the game.
The loyalty rating is used in 2K11‘s “Association mode,” and it rates the player’s willingness to stay with a team when he becomes a free agent.
This isn’t the first time a video game has made updates due to off-the-court events. According to the report, Madden has pulled similar moves in the past.

Quote of the Day
“It takes some time for the team to come together. There’s no ‘I’ in team. So no matter how good a player is, no matter how good a group of players are, if they haven’t played together before they are not going to be as good as a team that has played together a long time.”

When it comes to New England fans and their Thanksgiving, the majority said they were least likely to invite Alex Rodriguez over to their house to enjoy the turkey and trimmings. Not only because he’s a part of the Evil Empire, but because the beloved bird might end up on the floor.
“A-rod, he might slap the turkey out of my hands.”
