Chad Ochocinco is about to be Ochocinco no more.

The Bengals wide receiver was on ESPN's NFL Live on Tuesday afternoon, and he announced that he is in the process of changing his name back to Chad Johnson.

"I don't have a choice right now," Ochocinco said. "I've done enough with the Ocho thing."

Ochocinco legally changed his name in 2008 from "Chad Johnson" to "Chad Ochocinco" because he wanted to be able to put "Ochocinco" on the back of his jersey, in reference to wearing No. 85.

In what could be a related note, Ochocinco is entering his final year under contract with the Bengals and has recently made it known that he wouldn't mind playing for the Patriots or Jets. Perhaps the name change is laying the groundwork for what could be a necessary jersey number change.
