Fan Forum: Which NFL Team Has Been Biggest Disappointment This Season? The Cowboys were supposed to be the first team to play in the Super Bowl in their home stadium. That is not going to happen.

But are the boys in Big D the biggest disappointment of the year? They've certainly got plenty of competition.

Carolina Panthers — Not much was expected out of this team, but by virtue of having the worst record in the league, they make this list.

Cincinnati Bengals — The pairing of Terrell Owens with Chad Ochocinco turned out to be a nightmare for Carson Palmer.

Dallas Cowboys — Their quarterback broke his collarbone and their coach was fired. But hey, at least Jerry Jones was entertaining on Entourage, right?

Denver BroncosTim Tebow has been the lone bright spot for a team at 4-11 that fired its coach and, even with a win on Sunday, will finish with its worst record since 1990 (5-11).

Houston Texans — Perenially labeled a contender in the summer, the Texans are 5-10 and lost eight of their last nine games.

Miami Dolphins — The dark horse to win the AFC East, the Dolphins lost in consecutive weeks to the Jets and Patriots in Miami by a combined score of 72-37. And so ended their playoff hopes.

Minnesota Vikings — The Vikings had to beg Brett Favre to come back, and they're probably sorry they did.

San Francisco 49ers — To be in the NFC West and not even be a playoff contender is an indictment on the San Francisco organization. A shouting match with quarterback Troy Smith was a fitting end to Mike Singletary's tenure as head coach.

Tennessee Titans — This team acquired Randy Moss and proceeded to make him look like a nobody.

Washington Redskins — Many pegged the Redskins to compete for the NFC East crown in 2010. Instead, there was just a whole lot of drama between Mike Shanahan and Donovan McNabb.
