Super Bowl Preparations Kick Into High Gear Across the Country (Photos) Even before the final seconds ticked away in the fourth quarter at Heinz Field on Sunday, newspapers emblazoned with the headline "Super Bowl Bound" were in the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Now that the Super Bowl XLV participants have been determined, preparations for the showdown in Arlington have really kicked into high gear across the country. The Wilson Sporting Goods factory in Ada, Ohio, put the finishing touches on the game balls, and workers at the Galleria Dallas mall began decorating their ice skating rink with the game symbols. For the next two weeks, everyone will be counting down until the kickoff of one of sports' largest events.

The excitement is going to spread like wildfire over the next 13 days, as the brand new Dallas Cowboys stadium prepares to host the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV. Much has been done already, however, and it will be exciting to see what's yet to come.
